Hummm ... hadn't heard of the Drone. Motorola site doesn't have it listed yet.

Wonder how it will compare to the Garmin Nuvi?

Same here...just the fact that the OS is not verizons & the processor leads me to believe that this phone will be able to handle A LOT that some of the other current  smart phones simply can't...

the only thing i will miss about the reality is the brilliant LED display. there is simply nothing that matches it. almost tempted to wait for the samsung omia HD since it will have the same screen and windows mobile 6.5

Someone lied to you, there's no brilliant screen on the Reality - they are not smart phones.

If you go to the android market, there are a lot of apps there already.  It is separate from Verizon.  Now if they would add more apps for the Reality, I would be really happy.  I would be careful about the switch to this phone, I am sure that they are going to classify it a "smart" phone thus they are able to charge you an additional $30 per month for the special data plan that is "required" to use the phone.

Not sure what you mean by that or was it some kind of joke?  Reality and Omnia 2 are pretty much the only 2 phones with the AMOLED screen that is leaps and bounds better than the ones on most phones and smartphones.
