Hide text sender's name?

Hey all, shot in the dark.. Is it possible to turn off the name of the person who sent the text in the notification that pops up when a text is received???

I hate those late night random (most often drunk) texts. The last thing I need is my girlfriend jumping to any conclusions My old phone simply said something to the effect, "you have a new text." I'd be fine with just a tone, vibrate, and the little new message icon.
