For example, I go to www.google.com to look up directions to a restaurant.

Then, I exit the browser to text my friend the address.

When I return to the browser, the google page is gone and it has reset to the VZW homepage.

On my blackberry, pages would remain even after exiting and re-opening the browser.

WHY VERIZON WHY? YOU JUST WANT ME TO WASTE MY 25MB DATA PLAN DONT YOU? Cry

But that would only work for one webpage. I want it so that I can look something up on the web, exit my browser to make a phone call, then go back to the browser and have that webpage still loaded.

But the stupid Reality browser resets every time so I have to look the same info up again and waste my data plan!

when you close your browser on your computer, and then re-open it, does it immediately go back to the last page you were viewing?  nope.

I do not like how the iphone/ipod touch stores the last page, but that is just a personal preference.

No but I can minimize the browser, open up another program to do something else, then maximize the browser again and it will be at the same page. Besides, I'm not talking about a computer. I'm talking about a cell phone that I only have a measly 25MB of data use each month.

If anyone has used a blackberry before, they know what I am talking about and how helpful it is to be able to keep your last viewed webpage open in the browser for later use.

If anyone can actually help me please respond.

i know what you're talking about, and checked in the browser's settings - did not see a setting for keeping the last site visited.

however, I do not know of any non-Smart phones that have this feature.  but if it is something you really want, contact Samsung, and they could add it to their next software update.

What I do is after I re-open the browser I click the little box on the bottom right corner of the screen then click the button to the left of the zoom button.  Then click history and you have a list of all the web pages you've visited in the past 24 hours.  You can scroll through and click the one you want to open.  I know it sounds like a lot of steps but it's a lot faster then trying to navigate to a certain page all over again. Especially something like a google search.
