Okay well I have been looking around and I see a lot of confession and a lot of bluetooth stuff. So I want to show people what I use to get my ringtones for free..

First go to this site
http://www.makeownringtone.com/
Scroll down. and click "Upload" and choose a Music file that you want to make as your ringtone and let let it upload.
Then choose where you want you ringtone to start and end by clicking on the thing with the waves and numbers (yes i forgot what its called)  and dragging the too lines. ones to start and ones to finish but keep in mind that if you make it too long it wont be sent to your phone because verizon give a limit..
When you are happy with the ringtone look for the one that says "Download".
click it and select "Via Email" Put in your E-mail address (I used AOL im not sure if others will work but you can try) and select "Make Ringtone" then go to your email and wait for it to be received. I used AOL but if I'm correct, in the message there should be an attachment on the top of the message in the bar. Click it and see if it has sound. If so go back to the message and FWD to to mobilenumber@vzwpix.com
Mobilenumber is to be replaced with your phone number.
and send it. wait for your phone to get the message and with me i had to scroll down and click on the message because for some odd reason it had 2 pages. when you hear the ringtone press "options" and then "save as ringtone" if you want it to be set for when someone calls you select "ringtone" if you want to to be for when u get a text select "text" if you want it to  be for Texts,Pics,Voicemail, and missed calls select that too..
I know its looks longish but if u read this you should be able to do this fast..
Hope this helped.

Thanks for the tip.  Even a "non-techie" like me was able to figure that out.  As Tredog mentioned, I too have too many songs to choose from.

I don't even own a Samsung Reality but my mother does so I created an account just to say THANK YOU! I've been searching all over the web for a solution and found all kinds of things from going into bluetooth to using the useless usb cable. Your method worked like a charm with no probs. I knew there had to be a way and your the smarty who found out! Thanks again!   Cheesy

Thank you very much. I asked my ex boyfriend who is an electronic geek to put free ringtones on my phone. He couldn't do it because he was afraid to break my phone. HA thank you SO MUCH!!!
