I cannot get ringtones or wallpaper to my Reality. I download to pc, but my pc wont/cant install a driver for the Rouge. Subsiquently I cannot sync wallpaper and ringtones to my phone. I couldnt get them sent to my phone from this site. Others have said you cant from the site too. I am running Vista (yea, dont laugh). The wallpaper file format are all JPG files. The best I have done before is e-mail my pics from my pc to use as wallpaper, but even if the wallpaper size is large, the pic still wont cover the whole display on my phone. I can resize and save a pic, but when i go to use the resized pic for a wallpaper, it ends up still not covering the whole display. Any wallpaper/ringtones I`ve downloaded today wont correctly e-mail to my phone. The message says as an attachment, but right behind the attachment file name, it says "deleted". I`ve used the supplied wallpaper and ringtones installed in this phone from the start, but damnit, I need something new.

You must e mail them to yournumber@vzwpix.com..that is your cell number including area code. It will come to your phone as a txt message. When you receive it go to options, Then for ringtones choose save as ringtone for wall paper save as wall paper.

OK, I got my wallpaper transfered, but my ringtones dont come through to the phone after I send them as an attachment from my pc. Just the e-mail and no attachment. They are in mp3 format. Does the phone mail address need to be different for ringtones?

What size are your ringtones. They need to be 30 seconds or less and file size around 800 to 900k or less from what i know of. send them the same way. E mail them to yournumber@vzwpix.com

The 2 that I tried to send are 64kb`s and 200kb`s in size. Neither are no where near 30 seconds long. I get the e-mail with the subject showing, but it doesnt say anything about an attachment or download.

PS. When you receive the ringtone. You will not see anything..just whatever you type in the subject line (Now sometimes you might see it but most of the time not) just go to options then save as ringtone and it will be in your ringtones

1. Forward 2. Reply w. copy 3. Lock 4. View Content 5. Extract Addreses 6. Message Info
Nothing that says anything about any ringtones

I used outlook express to send. Put in the e-mail address, put in a subject, clicked on attachments and browsed till I found the ringtone and clicked on it. It showed in the e-mail. But when I get it, all I see is a subject and no attachments. Without seeing in the options where to save ANY ringtone. Tommorrow I will try to send with my hotmail and Yahoo accounts. Maybe something there will work better.

Try using that hotmail account. I have tried to send ringtones using an email client and it never worked for me. It seems the protocols used by web based emails deliver the attachements.

DONT use Outlook and things should work just as JP has been describing.... I have had yahoo mail mis-fire with ringtones before.. Hotmail or Gmail seem to always works flawless for me...

Hotmail did work. Transfered all my ringtones today using hotmail. As a side note, I asked my Verizon carrier today about what could be causing it. She said "We dont encourage adding ringtones this way. They would rather you buy them from the Verizon store." OK... where do I start... I paid full price for my phone 2 months ago. My LG Envy went though the wash machine. (no insurance) and I turned around and bought the Reality at full price AND pay $170 a month for premium service on 3 phones. Excuse me for scrimping a bit and going elsewhere for a free ringtone or 2.
