Twitter Display Mode

Does anyone have any experience using the Twitter Widget on the Reality? 

When I open the Twitter Widget, it opens mobile Twitter via the browser and loads the entirety of the page in Page View, causing me to have to click the settings icon in the lower-right hand corner to get to Settings > Display Mode where I can switch it back to Detail View.  Though it says "Saving", when I back out to my home screen and reopen the Twitter Widget, (voila) it's back in stinkin' Page View again.

How do you get mobile twitter to open in Detail View instead of Page View?  Anyone?  Anyone?  Beuller?

Not it.  I'm talking about the mobile web, mobile.twitter.com.  When the mobile page loads and displays my current twitter timeline, it defaults to Page View.  I want to set default to Detail View.  The communities section is for input only.
