how to hack the samsung reality to run android cupcake =)
okay this is the time for the samsung reality to finaly be totaly hacked
if it is ever gona be possible its gona be now
I dont know if you are aware of this mod but its called the unbrickable mod
and it is being done to more and more samsung phones the mod consists of removing a resistor on the io ports that connect to the processer. the man who invented the mod has
agread to help finaly blow the doors of this little puppy! looking on line at the fetures of the phone at meny reviews thare is almost no information on the processer almost every single other aspect of the phone is coverd on every review our first step is to find the
datasheets on the processor im not exactuly sure what processor we are even talking about ut i hear its the same processor as the droid eris
so if anyone anyware can provide the information then we can remove the right resister and actuly make this thang unbrickable and modable at the same time

the phone is totaly locked down and has ben forever the droid eris runns android cupcake so if we are able to preform the mod im thinking this would be the first os to try out on it but that would be just the tip of the ice! this mod would open the door to booting from 3 diffrent directions and you would never have to worry about a bad flash
if you want to know more about teh unbrickable mod head over to teh xda developer forms and search unbrickable mod by adam outler hes becomeing quite the man with his little mod and its beng able to be preformd on more and more samsung phones

now i know the samsung reality dosent have wifi and is not a smart phone but it has smart phone capabilitys and is more usefull than just running a brew os thats never gona be updated agin or manufactured agin!

im personaly standing by with soldering iorn in hand awating adems instructions he needs the datasheets on the processor we are ready to work

i cant find the data sheets and i dont have time to serch best thang i could to is take the phone apart and take some pictures of the mother bord but thats nott gona do us any good we need to know what ports are what first

and this is teh first step!

please help!

okay this post has ben up for 3 weeks now it seams and no reply as bmeny times as i have ben to this forum and as menny reality owners as i know
thay all want the same thang to mod or unlock or do more with thare reality!
i my self have owened the phone for 2 years or so and had the device replaced 3 times from hevy useage all the time hoping  for a software update that would give me more
insted the 3 updates i did receve only inproved curent fetures and added one more option in a hiden menu

so please if anyone is reading this and i know you guys are 145 views and not a single reply!

i just need info on the proceser so please post any info on the proceser that you can!
pic's spects ect!

this is absolutely genius! I am going to do some searching and see what i can do! I cant believe more people are not responding they just wanna ask simple ? on how to set ringtones lol really I am all about new software and doing new things to phones ive been doing phone repairs and prl swaps for years glad to see someone thinking outside the box!

Yeah I personaly orignaly got a black one for my self a city red one for my sister and payed 350$ x2 for this phone. I loved it & it did me good but always felt it was limeted on the software side as far as the hardware its a great device. I to had mine replaced severl times & I to cant beleve noone will reply to this!

as baddly as people wanted this unfortunatly the device is now dicontenued!


I wish I knew a better place to post this! If you can copy my post to a better place or know anyware else better to get this word out please do so or let me know thanks!

Im gessing most samsunge reality oweners dont even know this site exists but we need someone on the inside from samsung to give this info to use! unfortunatly the device is not so populer that enuf people care to ask!

I sent you an email as well.   Does this site help?   It appears to have massive information on the processor.  I came across this site by searching  Samsung Reality u370 processor data sheet.

no. those are for dumb phones. we nee the S5PV201 and others. You're not going to find in on alldatasheet.com.. that is one of the first places we look.
