i can't read any excell or word files in my phone///    file viewer come up with there are no files in the card...yet when i can see them on the card when connected to pc?

I think your problem is that you need to leave the micro sd card in the phone and use the usb cable... go to settings and tools on your phone, then tools, then usb mass storage, and you will see all of the files  on your phone. copy and paste the excell, word, or even powerpoint files into that folder. I'm pretty sure this will work, as it works for me.
