I loaded come music on my phone from my computer using the usb cable. It was from CDs that I bought and put on my computer. Some of the music plays and some I get a prompt that says License Expired. Is this something done so I can't load it off the computer and have to purchase in agian to download or am I doing something wrong.

Love the phone by the way.

I think the license expired refers only to songs that you purchase from the phone or via rhapsody (if applicable).

I loaded my phone with all of my songs (ripped from CDs, downloads, etc), and nothing has expired.

That's what I don't understand. I've never purchased any music from  rhapsody or any other site. I only buy CD's. Not copies but orignals from walmart etc.

Plus it seems like it's only on the newer CD's. The older stuff has no problems.

I talked to one of the IT guys here at my work. He suggested trying a different program to convert the CD to MP3. I was using windows media player. I tried Real One and that made all the difference. Works fine now.
