Anyone know if BitPim ringtone creator will work on the reality? Or do I need to create it, save it to a card on my old phone then put that card in my new phone?

I dont know about bitpim. But the way I do my ringtones is attach file to an e-mail and send to cell#@vzwpix.com then you can save as ringtone in message options.

Another way to get ringtone to your phone is to use a FREE site like this one:

http://mgm.funformobile.com/pages/ringtone/uploadRingtone.php

As long as you just use the site the link brings you too and don't mistakenly click on an one of the sites Ad's .. its totally free and works perfectly....

That website you linked works perfectly on the reality, it sends the ringtone almost immediately after clicking send and you can just click save as ringtone once you open the message up.  Thanks for the link!

How about the drivers for this phone? I think I've tried just about everything to find one and nothing has worked. I know if I get it Bitpim will recognize our phones as other CDMA phone.

I clicked on the website provided by Axis, and uploaded two ring tones that were in MP3 format, the message came through, but when I opened the message, no attachments were available...  a little confused as to how that works, any suggestions to what I'm missing?
Thanks

yep, one at a time, when it comes to my phone, it's icon is a message with a reel, as if it were a multimedia message, but when I open the email, it's just the name of the file I specified, and nothing else.

When you receive a 'tone from these types sites, they always arrive as a multimedia message. When you open the message you should automatically hear the 'tone thats attached & be able to save it as a sound or ringtone..

Have you tried one of the other sites like www.phonezoo.com  ??  It too is completely FREE, As long as u stay on the site and don't use any external links. The site requires registration. (well worth the effort)......

I couldn't get the website to work.  I never seemed to get the messages.  The emailing to number@vzwpix.com solution seems to always work so far.

As for BitPim,  has anyone gotten it to work correctly? Do I need to make a cable or use the one that came with the phone?  What settings should I use?

Thanks, kinda new to this smart phone thing.

I don't think BitPim will work until they update the software which is still the same beta test from before this phone came out... i'm sure they'll work on it soon though... maybe a month?
