Another powerful audio editor is Audacity, located at
http://audacity.sourceforge.net. You'll need to download the mp3 encoder library for it separately, but instructions for doing that and setting it up with Audacity are found here:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Lame_Installation. Here's the instructions on Audacity's website for using it to make ringtones:
http://wiki.audacityteam.org/wiki/Making_Ringtones. It also details some different sites that will allow you to send the ringtone to your phone in a SMS message.
If you want to use Bitpim, in its settings choose SCH-U750 (Alias2) for the phone. Someone had instructions in a thread on this site about browsing to the brew/mod/18067/My_Sounds folder and copying your files there. In order for the phone to recognize them after you save them there, you'll need to copy the Msinfo.db file in that folder to a folder on your pc, edit it with Wordpad, copy one of the existing lines and replace the song title with the song that you uploaded, and replace the last 0 on the line with a 5. Then save it, right-click on Msinfo.db in Bitpim and choose Overwrite, then browse to the copy that you edited on your pc. Once it has been uploaded to your phone, disconnect the phone and turn it off and turn it back on. After it comes back on, go to Media Center, Music and Tones, My Sounds, and you'll see the clip you just uploaded. Select it and choose Options, and you'll see the Set as Ringtone as an option.
If you need the full details for using Bitpim, you can Google for "uploading ringtones to Samsung Hue with Bitpim" and you should be able to find the link. If not, let me know and I'll post the link here.
Good luck!
