ok i have had my phone for about a month now and i am completley lost. I'm having nothing but problems trying to download ringtones and such. I 've read through past post on ways to download but im still finding it all confusing. If someone can please walk me through this and where to start and what a good site to go to for ringtones. i'm pretty much electronic handicaped.. please help

The easiest & safest site would be www.phonezoo.com...   Register an account (FREE).... Pick a 'tone.... Have it sent directly to your phone...  You receive a Multimedia Message... While listening to it.. press your options key.... Save as Ringtone......

Another really easy & safe place to get Ringtones is www.zedge.com

Should you decide to download Ringtones to your Computer instead of having them sent to your phone, we now do the following...

It's time to go to your favorite email account..

Address an email to ... yournumber@vzwpix.com (area code included) attach the Ringtone of your choice to it and send...

Once it arrives to your phone (mere seconds in most cases) as the multimedia message plays..

Press your options key.. Save as Ringtone or Sound.. Reply to save as both.. Once saved as a Sound file.

You can now share this 'Tone by sending your friends a picture message with the 'Tone attached........ If you save the 'Tone just as a Ringtone, you will be able to use it as you would any other Ringtone already on your phone............

Please let me know how it works out..........

you can also try http://www.tonzr.com to get ringtones - they have many, many songs and sites like zedge and phonezoo have copyright restrictions and don't have many of the songs tonzr has.

thank you so much for all your help, i finally got a few tones downloaded, the only problem im having is how long does it normaly take to send the tone via email.. i tried sending a few from zedge and its been about 30 min and still nothing... is there a way to test the email toyour phone.

not sure what you mean by test the e mail to your phone. Do you mean the your number@vzwpix.com?

It also depends on your service area - if you have junk service, it'll take a while to get ringtones BUT Axis and his silliness posted the wrong address so i'm sure you never received it, LOL!

I have tried sending the tone to my phone but the message is "You've got a pix or flix message! To see it ..." then it lists a website i have to go to then when i get there and sign in to my account it says insufficient memory and nothing happens. Its only around 277 kb and its a wav file. What am i doing wrong?
