Does anyone have or know if the Accuweather app resides on the home screen with details and can be launched/updated there or do you have to go into browser? thanks.

That would be sweet, but is the Reality even capable of doing that?

When I got my Reality back in 2009...I thought you had a choice between Accuweather or Weatherbug. I had saw a screenshot in December of a Samsung phone with the Accuweather widget that i started this discussion about...think it was Omnia. I am only seeing Weatherbug on the phone...I just went to the Verizon App Store, and Accuweather Premium is there....however, when I log into the store, only weatherbug shows. So apparently, it doesn't work with our phone. I guess maybe when I looked before originally, I didn't have an account at that time and wasn't logged in to the store.

While simple, and not on the home screen Google SMS is a nice solution for me. I really like the fact that the reality pulls out the numbers of business responses too for one touch dialing. http://www.google.com/mobile/products/sms.html#p=default

I downloaded the weatherbug app. It's not bad....I like it. I created a shortcut with the favorite apps widget so I can run it one touch. It will show you current conditions with a today and tonight forecast that you can tap for more detail. Then you can choose a 7 day forecast for which you can tap into each day for full details. It also has radar and weather maps. However, the downside is the 2.99 a month. Don't know if I will keep it or not, but I'll test it out for at least this month.

m.wund.com is great and right now you can get an ad free 1 year membership for free. just go to www.wunderground.com and use code FMUYZ after registration you don't need a credit card or to give them anything more than an email. The no ads part will save you bandwidth on your phone. The Radar vids are longer with a membership, like 40 minutes. Paul
