not sure, but I think that the phone cannot view attachments when sent to the phone's address.  try sending viewing via the mobile e-mail app

I don't want to use the email app because I'm not sure how verizon is billing me I know it comes with the 9.99 data plan but is the email app using your data or is it unlimited email data.

apologies for the late response, but the e-mail app is included in the $10/month data plan (as you already knew).  you get up to 25MB per month.... that 25MB includes internet, app downloads/useage, and e-mail useage..... so far, no problems for me, and I use my e-mail app daily...

the delay I think has more to do with the your network connection, the cycle it runs, and when you check your e-mail without using your phone.  I usually receive my notifications rather quickly (sometimes instantly).  there have been times when I did not receive a notification, but those are usually explainable.

the short delay does not have me concerned.
