Data usage?

There is no static number for any given sites access it depends on what you do. It's pretty easy to find out though, simply try to use it as you normally would and check your data usage every 24 hours using Verizons website or the default #data contact that comes on all Verizon phones.

It takes a while for the data usage to update on Verizon's website so it's basically always going to be a day behind.

Avoid Verizons stock VZW homepage like the plague it will eat your data usage in a hurry. I'm personally trying to find a way to create my own local homepage on the phone itself so I can use my own low bandwidth page links and avoid graphics intensive adfilled sites.

You can't manually type a URL into the web browser (except for the home page) without Verizons site trying to filter it. I figure a few static links and a simple JavaScript text entry box for a custom URL is all I'll need to be able to use the web more often without going into the more expensive plans.

I don't want anything more than the 10 dollar a month plan for at least another year or two, I just don't use mobile devices that often it's only a convenience.
