I go tmy Samsung Reality in May of 2010. At the time the Reality had just came out and it looked like a decent phone. . I have very many reasons why I cannot stand this phone.
1) The Battery Life
The phone would die after thiry minutes of it being charged. I know that most phone's battery doesn't last for days anymore, but thirty minutes is a little ridiculous. To fix the problem, I turned the backlight as far down as it would go.
2) The Wallpapers
 I quickly set them all the day that I got the phone. The next day they were back to the factory settings. No matter how many times I have reset them, they go back to the factory settngs.
3) Dropped CallsI could be on the phone in the middle of chicago, with perfect service and the phone would drop the call within 2 minutes.
4) Call Reception is Horrible
The other person on the phone could NEVER hear me, This got extremely annoying because I would literally have to scream.
5) Unlocking Itself
If i set the phone down, even on a bed, it would literally unlock itself and call soemone. It would delete contacts, and randomly go on the internet.
I storongly discourage this pgone. Please kep these things in consideration when you buy the phone

I too, have had this phone since May 2010, and only experience one of your problems - the wallpapers - which can be resolved by moving the pictures to the phone's memory rather than the card.

#'s 1, 3, & 4 are probably related to network issues that are causing the battery to drain - try updating roaming capabilities...

#5 sounds like a touch screen issue or you've got a ghost...

I have had nothing but problems with this phone. I complained about it twice when it was under warranty and they told me nothing was wrong with it and that samsung was working on software issues... Now that it's out of warranty, it's doing a lot of crazy things...

-It doesn't always charge
-It over heats
-It freezes up and shuts off by itself
-The screen pictures I set always rest themselves back to default (My Pictures ARE on the memory card!)
-It gets a bunch of lines across it and static-- similiar to what happens to cable when there is a storm,  and then it freezes up and shuts off, which also resets the background pictures to default. (It's done this three times within a weeks time)
-It doesn't always ring. I have missed a lot of calls because of this. It will go straight to voicemail or the call won't go through at all
Basically, if you are thinking about purchasing this phone, I wouldn't! It's junk. Absolutely DO NOT waste you're money on a Samsung Reality.

The first post mentioned a problem with people on the other line hearing-- I have had this problem too. Also, some of the voicemails I get are unaudiable, you can hear the person speaking but it's too quiet to hear. At first, I chalked it up to being problems with the other person's phone... until it happened from different callers on more than one occassion, which weren't calling from cell phones, rather  they were landlines.

My phone has not had any water damage and I have taken care of it. I could understand it malfunctioning if that weren't the case. Now, I am stuck with a phone that's on the fritz of not working at all and can't afford a new one. This phone should be recalled.

Have had none of these problems on the u370. Are these u820 phones?

I agree, I have problems since I got this phone, had a hard time getting the touch pad to work well after we adjusted the touch calibration.  And all the calls I would only hear about 95% of the words said and the last part of the word would over modulate or cut off or be distorted . And times it would like the other party was under water. Just recently after using the browser, the phone would lock up. and the only way to be able to re-use the phone was to remove the battery, and start the phone up again to make a call. Now after calling  verizon and asking for help, the person offered to suggest to do a hard start, and asked me about my pictures and videos. ( I did not know what or how to move anything) .Then he walked me through this process, and this part of it worked well. And after the hard start and only after the hard start I looked for my notes, ringtones, and anyother data I have saved and had made onto the phone for the past  6 MONTHS were GONE. I called back asking for help about this painfull subject, the answerss I had recieved was we SORRY!!?Huh?? I was SPEACH-LESS . This phone is not a convenience it  is a curse! This is a phone from hell.
