Author Topic: My Reality crashes/resets when I Erase All text messages?  (Read 2888 times)

IT'S SO ANNOYING.
I can't erase all text messages or else the phone crashes.
I have to select "Only Read Messages" and then erase all the unread messages by hand.

Is there something I can do? I've had the phone since November (4 months), so I couldn't take it back to the Verizon store, right?

Yes you can, it has a one year warranty so you should be able to get some assistance at the store.

my reality would do this while it was plugged in.  when i stopped erasing the messages while it was plugged in it would work fine.  When ever i tried to erase the messages while it was plugged in it would shut down.  I dont know if this is your problem but if so try that out.

when u erase all texts make sure you start in the messaging section and option zero "erase options"

then select what you want to erase. and it will erase all with out crashing...

if u erase all within the inbox of message.. the reality will crash..

thats what i notice with my phone.  Wink

Ive had the same issues plus others with this phone... Verizon has replaced it and Im on my 3rd Reality since last fall.      I saw one guy went through 9 of them before they replaced it with the Droid.   Ridiculous!!!!   POS
