Here's how I did it step by step. I assume you can use the USB cable too, but after a lot of puttering my Reality still won't work correctly in USB file transfer mode.

You need a MicroSD card for this.

This is for Outlook 2007. Other versions are probably similar.

You'll find some Outlook export instructions that are agonizing, requiring you to manually save or open every single vcard contact. This method is much simpler.

1. First format the MicroSD card for your Reality: insert it into your Reality then Menu > Settings & Tools > Memory > Card Memory > Format Card. Probably obvious, but: THIS WILL ERASE EVERYTHING ON YOUR CARD.

2. Remove the card. Insert the card into a regular-sized SD card sleeve and insert it into your computer's SD card reader.

4. Open WIndows Explorer (Windows-E) and navigate to your SD card.

5. You should see a folder for your contacts; open it.

6. In Outlook 2007, go to your Contacts and select the ones you want to export. (Ctrl-A will select them all, or you can Ctrl-click individual ones.)

7. Right click on one of the contacts and choose Send Full Contact > In Internet Format (vcard).

8. A blank email message will open with all of the contacts as *.vcard attachments. Click once in the "Attached" area containing the cards, then press Ctrl-A to select all the cards.

9. Now here's the trick: drag the attached vcards and drop them into your MicroSD card's contacts folder in Windows Explorer. All the files will be copied.

10. Eject the card, remove it from the sleeve, and insert it into your Reality.

11. On the Reality go to Menu > Settings & Tools > Memory > Card Memory > My Contacts > Move to Phone.

12. Revel in the glory of your imported contact list.

This is great.  Anyone know how to adapt these instructions to Outlook 2010?
