Just out of curiosity, have there been any software updates at all? I've checked about every other day since I've had the phone, and have not seen any updates at all.

No none at all. I am sure it will be on the front page when if ever one does hit.

Phones are made to a certain protocol. What Verizon wants Samsung makes or Samsung shows a phone to Verizon that meets a certain protocol. Now some of the problems the phones are having are a hardware problem that only a few phones might have. Some of what we feel is a software problem might have been what Verizon wanted. Example  Not being able to download (or save) items e mailed to you. Now There are a few software problems like the beeping when all sounds are off when checking e mail. Weather there are enough actual problems that were not intended I guess not otherwise there would have been a update. Alot of what we might think is a software problem was probably intended to be that way.

First off i want to say that Samsung did a good job replacing the ugly azz Glyde. I just got this phone and since then I have gone through six of these devices. I am a phone fanatic and I know my phones inside and out. The real issue with the Reality is the Reality tends to act like a laptop therefore phone gets hot, phone shuts off and always turning off.. Samsung needs more customers to talk more about getting a upgrade on the software...
