so i dropped my reality in water for like 2 seconds.  did the rice thing for 24 hours and phone seemed ok.  did the new software update and now it is going crazy.  when i am on a call it will beep like crazy whenever the backlight flashes on or off.  if i have the qwerty open and i am on speaker,  it will go nuts and start sending texts messages to a random bunch of numbers.  i have done a factory reset 2 times,  gone to 4 diff verizon stores,  talked to tech support and they are all baffled.  i turned of the proximity sensor and it seems to slow down the beeping a little bit when on a call, but it still does the texting thing while on speaker...  any thoughts?  please help

sounds like you still got some lingering affects from the water damage - a drawback to touchscreen phones.

have you tried using a screen protector?  their $5, but might be worth the chance that there is some water damage to the screen.
