hmmm thats odd, do you charge it more often than it needs to be? (or did you since it sounds like you dont have a choice but to charge it daily now) cause that has been known to destroy battery life

Charging it once a day because I have to, overnight. I have 2 batteries and one is worse off than the other. The first battery was from the first line of Realitys which I got the day after it came out... I was thinking it was something they were doing to the newer models and software or just the latest batteries suck.

Hey guys! First Post here since I really didn't know where else to go to. I've just recently updated my phone to the newer software but now every time I try and text someone it automatically reboots while I'm typing out the message. I've already rebooted the phone a few times and removed the battery but problem remains. Any other ideas out there?  |

to me, that sounds like the software downloaded or installed incorrectly. i would reinstall, if thats possible. im not sure if you can redownload the same software tho. i guess you just need to take it to a verizon store?

I believe the only way to "reinstall" the OTA software would be to factory reset the phone, at least I think I read that somewhere on this forum. Back up everything first and I will not be held responsible for any data you lose.  That should put it back to the way it came from the factory. Then just redownload the OTA software or not if you don't want to. Menu>Settings & Tools>Phone Settings>Security> Restore Phone. The original S/W version was CG22 and the new version is CI23 if you want to check to see if it actually installed. Menu>Settings & Tools>Phone Info>SW/HW Version The software version is right after "u960." |

I have noticed when i got the new software that the lock screen of the wallpaper the corners flip up and today i noticed that i used to have the time and date on the screen. It now shows up with either just the date or just the time but not both i it did a few days ago...

so how do i get it. i hit "check new" and its doesnt find anything.
I just tried to update and had to call CS. Now I have to go to the store to update both my phones to the new software. If you do that, be sure to transfer all data to memory card. |
