I was using my ENV Touch as a modem and want to do the same with the Reality. On the Touch all I had to do was go into the programming menu and edit the NAI address. I can't find that option on The Reality. Any help would be appreciated.

The way I did it on the ENV Touch didnt require anything but VCast. I didnt have to subscribe to tethering. It's a workaround to get unlimted tethering for free. Will this link show me how to access the DATA settings on the phone? Thats really all I need

Finally! All I needed was the Samsung USB drivers. Those are available from Verizon. Go to VZAM.Net for the drivers. Then all you need is Samsung PST. I used Samsung PST Lite. Once you get PST running and detect the phone, Select "Setting" Have the program read the DATA settings. Delete where it says "dun" on xxxxxxxxx@dun.vzw3g.net. The "dun" flags the Verizon network sayingthat you dont have a modem package. When you delete the "dun" part, it doesnt block you.

As long as you are on a connect plan. This phone requires a data package ($10 for 25mb or $20 for 75mb). The connect plan will give you unlimited data for only $10 a month. Dont use it excessively and you won't get caught. i'm tethering right now through bluetooth as I reply on this forum. It does work. I've been using this method for 3 months now. This is the second phone I use it on.
The drivers are on the VZAM.net website. Just follow the steps. When you get to the download page it'll give you the option to download just the Samsung USB drivers

joeym2, What version of Samsung PST Lite are you useing? There seems to be several different versions that support different phones but I couldn't find one that supports the Reality u960.
Thanks

Hi! Thank you for the info! I was able to download the driver however I'm not sure about the PST lite part. I never used PST before so I have no idea how to use it. I downloaded the program (I googled it- I don't even know if I downloaded the right program) If possible can you explain in more detail how to use PST? (I mean how to detect your phone through PST) Do I need u960 dll file for this? Thanks in advance!!

joeym2 must have the samsung u960 pst dll, a plugin for PSTLite that tells it how to access the phone, or he found a similar phone's dll that worked. To my knowledge, the u960 dll isn't available yet. I PMed joeym2 and asked him about it.
