i edit directly through samsung pst.

Under the setting tab, open mmc file. Its located in the IS-95/1x DATA category.  Lines 29 and 30 remove, dun. Make sure you have original mmc incase you need restore it back. I have my entire phone backed up just in case.

Thats all I remember changing.

It seems a lot of these messages are from earlier in the year. I'm not having any luck with the PST Lite and U960 connecting to my phone. Both PST and the U960 dll load and run fine, just can't get the phone to connect when it tries. Any help available? Feel free to email me, or reply here.

Thanks... Cybie Smiley

here is the exact files I used for editing my U960.  They work every time.  The phone I believe has to be in modem mode.  If their is multiple modes. Cant remember exact as I switched to a palm.  What exactly do you do? Is it giving errors?

I did some searching as this is now a Reality forum and that I've been getting a lot of request

This thread is only good if you have a samsung Rogue(U960), the dll in my link will not work for the Reality(U820) and I am unable to find a dll for the Reality.

Verizon Wireless Reps. Stated that This Phone is Not Mobile Broadband Compatible. Although I can Be Added to Your Bill for Tethering, It Will Not Work.

Not sure about now, I've moved on to the palm pre because of the free mobile broadband.  But this did work when I used the Rogue up until about April/May.  This is a workaround to enable it, all you need to do is connect your phone to usb with the usb driver, create a dial up connection to number #777, login credentials are yournumber@vzw3g.com  password is vzw.  If it connects and you try going to a website it will tell you to sign up.  Then the phone is mobile broadband compatible.  This worked around that page, i never was billed.  As long as you have unlimited data i would imagine it still working.  And if a dll ever releases for the Reality, i'm sure it would be able tether as well.

And I never listen to the reps as they tend to give out bad information.  Every rep I talked to stated that mobile hotspot on the Pre was free only to new 2-year accounts.  I bought my Pre, activated it, hotspot works, never billed. 5GB limit.
